Hello. I'm saving up for a pug.
I made BOOP TYCOON, an idle game about a pug I don't actually have. Making it just made me want one more.
So I've set up a GoFundMe. Anything at all is appreciated. If you can't give, no worries, just enjoy the game.
Donations go through GoFundMe. Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, in whatever currency you use. The live total is on the campaign page.

Your donation goes toward the pug itself, the first vet visits and jabs, insurance from day one, and the kit. Bed, harness, bowls, all of it.
Rescue is my first choice, there are plenty of pugs out there needing homes. If it ends up being a breeder, it will be one who health tests properly.
Things you might wonder
Is this a charity?
No. It's a personal fundraiser through GoFundMe. Donations are gifts to me and not tax deductible. The running total is public on the campaign page for anyone to see.
Pugs have health problems. Is this responsible?
Fair question. Pugs can have trouble with their breathing, eyes and spine, and plenty are bred badly. That's why rescue comes first, and if it's a breeder, one with Respiratory Function Grading on both parents. Insurance and vet care are in the budget from day one.
Do I get anything for donating?
A thank you, updates on how it's going, and your name in the game credits if you want it there. The game stays free for everyone either way.
What if you raise more than you need?
Anything beyond what the pug needs goes to a pug rescue. I'll name which one before the money moves, and share the receipt after.
Is the game really free?
Yes. No ads, no purchases, no account. It saves in your browser and that's it.
Donations are personal gifts to an individual, not payment for goods or services. GO PUG ME is not a registered charity.
